Emerging satellite technologies: IEC Telecom Europe to be a part of NetHope Global Summit 2018

From 5 to 9 November IEC Telecom Europe and Thuraya will jointly take part in NetHope Global Summit 2018 in Dublin, Ireland. The main topic of this year’s meeting is Digital Transformation. During the summit, NetHope member organizations, technology and funding partners, and other supporters will discuss all the aspects of “becoming digital.”

NetHope Summit 2018 agenda includes working groups, showcases, workshops and breakout sessions, where all the technology enthusiasts have a chance to discuss the digital era influence on humanitarian sector. Data and security, emerging technologies, humanitarian and disaster response are among the topics to talk about. IEC Telecom Europe expert Mathieu Alexandre and Daria Boiko, Key Account Manager at Thuraya Telecommunications, will join the summit to explain the vision of how satellite technologies meet critical connectivity needs as well as share our experience of cooperation with rescue operations and humanitarian missions.
